Monday Monday

I found the most awesome quilt at knitnlit.blogspot.com. She found the coolest design and decided to make it into a quilt...half triangle squares. There are 72 blocks and each one is unique. She posts one block each Monday but get this...it will take 72 weeks to complete. She began in 2012 and anticipates completion in 2014. I just might jump in on this especially since it is two colors of your choice. She is doing black and white and it is striking..... On another side of the nostril, I went to a Council of 101 meeting, which is a volunteer group of women who do fundraising for the Orlando Museum of Art. It isn't a group you just sign up for, you Need a sponsor and are a provide just like a sorority. We do two major fundraisers annually, the Festival of Trees which is a ten day event before Thanksgiving that sets the tone for the holiday season and the Antique show in February featuring antiques, garden ideas and appraisers.
